Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Rosemarie T. Ring was named one of the “Women Leaders in Tech Law” by The Recorder for the fourth year in a row. The list was published on Sept. 26, 2016.
Editors of The Recorder selected honorees based on their recent professional accomplishments in the tech industry and for their leadership roles within their organizations or in the legal community.
Ms. Ring was recognized for achieving dismissals in major privacy class actions against ESPN and Disney challenging digital streaming media services under the Video Privacy Protection Act. Her clients also include Snapchat, LinkedIn and Facebook in significant litigation matters.
Ms. Ring’s practice focuses on class actions involving privacy and data security, unfair competition and false advertising claims. She has represented technology companies in litigation and government investigations involving a wide variety of products and services, including online social networking, mobile devices and apps, digital content, mobile and cloud platforms, laptop computers, gaming consoles, software and various telecommunications services.
