Mr. Heinicke will speak on a panel of employment attorneys alongside Laura Ho from Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho; Andrew Livingston from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe; and Jahan Sagafi from Outten & Golden. The moderators include the Honorable Steven A. Brick (Ret.) and Michael J. Loeb of JAMS.
Mr. Heinicke will discuss developments in class certification of mass wage and hour claims and the increasing focus on penalties related to California’s Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act of 2004 (PAGA). He will also share his perspective on who decides crucial class and unconscionability issues, as well as best practices for settlement approval by the court in light of recent case law.
Mr. Heinicke focuses his practice on employment and complex commercial litigation, particularly in class and collective actions, as well as trade secret and employee mobility matters.
