Martin Estrada were recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal among the Most Influential Minority Lawyers in Los Angeles on Sept. 12, 2016. The publication recognized the lawyers among 40 “stellar minority attorneys…working to keep the people and businesses of Los Angeles on the right track.”
Citing his recent “mega-deals,” the publication highlighted Mr. Masuda’s recent transactions include representing MGM Resorts International in its $900 million acquisition of Boyd Gaming Corporation’s stake in the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and the independent directors of the board of DreamWorks Animation in the company’s $3.8 billion acquisition by NBCUniversal.
Mr. Estrada, a former federal prosecutor, was recognized for his work on “high-stakes and complex matters that are critical to the Southern California business community.” The publication cited his representation of Wells Fargo, Southern California Edison, Norton Simon Museum and LG Electronics in significant litigation. The newspaper also highlighted Mr. Estrada’s pro bono role on one of the largest educational-rights cases in the country.
