Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Jeffrey Weinberger was named an “Antitrust Trailblazer” by the National Law Journal in a report released Sept. 26, 2016. Mr. Weinberger was included on a list of 45 lawyers nationwide that “catalogs the extraordinary accomplishments of innovative thinkers and leading practitioners,” in the field, according to the Journal.
Mr. Weinberger was recognized for his lengthy career representing companies in a range of industries in antitrust litigation. In particular, he was selected for his representation of longtime client AbbVie (formerly Abbott Labs) before the U.S. Supreme Court in FTC v. Actavis, a widely followed case at the intersection of patent and antitrust law involving the issue of reverse payment settlements of pharmaceutical patent litigation.
Mr. Weinberger’s practice consists principally of antitrust and intellectual property litigation in trial and appellate courts.
