Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney and former U.S. Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli, Jr. discussed the U.S. Supreme Court’s impact at Bloomberg’s Next.Law Conference on Nov. 17, 2016.
Mr. Verrilli joined fellow former U.S. Solicitor General Theodore B. Among the topics discussed, the speakers addressed the impact of the presidential election on the High Court and other federal court vacancies, major cases on the docket, and what businesses should be preparing for in the coming year as well as the state of judicial oversight of federal agencies.
Mr. Verrilli’s practice focuses on representing and counseling clients on multi-dimensional problems, where litigation, regulation and public policy intersect to shape markets and industries in our evolving economy. One of the nation’s premier Supreme Court and appellate advocates, Mr. Verrilli served as Solicitor General of the United States from June 2011 to June 2016.
