Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Anjan Choudhury was named as among the Best Lawyers Under 40 by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) on Oct. 5, 2016.
Mr. Choudhury was one of 18 attorneys selected for the annual list, which “recognizes talented individuals in the Asian Pacific American legal community,” who “have achieved prominence and distinction in their respective fields and have demonstrated a strong commitment to Asian Pacific American civic or community affairs.”
Mr. Choudhury was nominated by the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California (SABA), where he is the immediate past president and current advisor to the board of directors. His nomination was bolstered by letters of support from colleagues, clients, and mentees.
He has served on the board of governors for the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County (APABA) and is a past member of the board of directors of the South Asian Bar Association Public Interest Foundation. Mr. Choudhury is currently co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee and the MTO Fellows Program.
The award will be presented to Mr. Choudhury at the NAPABA convention in November.
Mr. Choudhury practices in a wide variety of matters involving civil, administrative and appellate litigation, focusing primarily on matters for clients in the entertainment industry. He was named an “Up Next” rising star in entertainment litigation in Variety’s 2015 Legal Impact Report.
