Munger Tolles attorney Michael E. Soloff has been named by the State Bar of California as a recipient of its 2015 President’s Pro Bono Service Award in the “Individual from a Law Firm” category.
The President’s Pro Bono Service Awards recognize California attorneys who provided or enabled the direct provision of legal services to poor persons or to organizations whose primary purpose is to provide free legal services to the poor. Mr. Soloff was nominated by longtime pro bono client Bet Tzedek Legal Services, an organization that provides free legal services for low-income individuals and families in Los Angeles. Mr. Soloff has worked extensively with Bet Tzedek, the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and many other legal services providers around California to defend Section 8 tenants’ legal protections against no-cause evictions.
The State Bar will present its 2015 Awards at a reception on Oct. 9, 2015 at the Anaheim Marriott.
