Munger, Tolles & Olson attorneys Luis Li and Carolyn Hoecker Luedtke will speak at the 27th Annual All Hands Meeting to be held on Oct. 28-29, 2015.
Mr. Li will lead a session titled “International Investigations,” in which he will discuss criminal and civil enforcement investigations in foreign jurisdictions and the potential transnational litigation that may ensue. He will also address defenses to such overseas investigations.
In a session titled “Protecting Trade Secrets in a Mobile Workforce,” Ms. Luedtke will describe actions companies can take to protect against the loss of confidential and trade secret information, as well as steps to prevent the misappropriation of that information from others.
Presented in coordination with the Silicon Valley Association of General Counsel, the All Hands Meeting brings legal, regulatory and ethical insights to a variety of in-house professionals whose businesses rely upon intellectual property, such as patent agents, licensing executives, HR professionals and others. Mr. Li is a trial lawyer in the firm’s Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on corporate crisis management, internal corporate investigations, complex business litigation, art law, international enforcement matters and white collar criminal defense. In 2015, Mr. Li was among the attorneys recognized with a California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year Award for his successful defense of Transocean.
Ms. Luedtke is a litigator in the firm’s San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on complex business litigation, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property matters. In 2013 and 2014, Ms. Luedtke was named among California's “Top Women Lawyers” by the Daily Journal. She has also been named to The Recorder’s “Women Leaders in Technology Law” list.
