Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Joshua Patashnik participated in “Frontiers in Water Adjudication,” a panel at the Natural Resources Law Teachers Institute conference on May 28, 2015 in Salt Lake City. The panel discussed the U.S. Supreme Court’s increased interest in interstate water adjudication in light of the anticipated growing number of interstate water disputes, as well as the court’s recent high-profile water adjudications. In particular, Mr. Patashnik’s presentation addressed contract reformation, rescission and changed circumstances in the context of interstate water compacts.
The Natural Resources Law Teachers Institute is a biannual conference that attracts leading scholars and practitioners of environmental, water and natural resources law.
Based in Munger Tolles’ San Francisco office, Mr. Patashnik focuses on complex civil litigation and appellate litigation.
