Rose Ring and Jonathan Blavin to Speak at 2014 All Hands Meeting

Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP attorneys Rosemarie T. Ring and Jonathan H. Blavin will speak on recent developments in privacy and data security law at the 26th Annual All Hands Meeting on Nov. 7, 2014. Among other topics, they will address class action litigation involving the Video Privacy Protection Act and email “scanning” practices, Big Data and the Internet of Things, and the impact of data breach and class action settlements on insurance providers.

Presented in coordination with the Silicon Valley Association of General Counsel, the All Hands Meeting brings legal, regulatory and ethical insights to a variety of in-house professionals whose businesses rely upon intellectual property, such as patent agents, licensing executives, HR professionals and others.

Ms. Ring has substantial experience representing technology companies in litigation and government investigations with a particular expertise in class actions involving privacy and data security, unfair competition and false advertising claims. In 2013 and 2014, she was named to The Recorder’s “Women Leaders in Technology Law” list.

Mr. Blavin has substantial experience in high-technology intellectual property disputes and Internet and privacy-related litigation. Mr. Blavin has been named a top attorney under 40 in the field of technology law by Law360.
