Munger Tolles co-sponsored a conference titled “The Future of Privacy+Innovation” on April 10. The program was hosted by the UC Hastings Privacy and Technology Project in San Francisco.

Munger Tolles attorneys Rosemarie T. Ring and Jonathan H. Blavin spoke about EU privacy-related issues during the event.

The workshop explored how the privacy space for application developers is evolving as we strive to balance consumer privacy and innovation, and find new ways to innovate on privacy. The Attorney General of California Kamala D. Harris was the keynote speaker.

Ms. Ring’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with a particular expertise in class actions involving privacy, unfair competition and false advertising claims.

Mr. Blavin has substantial experience in high-technology intellectual property disputes and Internet and privacy-related litigation.
