For the sixth year in a row, Munger, Tolles & Olson ranked in the top three on The American Lawyer’s A-List.
“For a firm like Munger Tolles, which ends up at or near the top of the A-List year after year, making the cut is simply a matter of adhering to the firm’s long-held values,” The American Lawyer wrote in its July 2012 issue.
“We have not changed anything to be near the top. We’re just being us,” managing partner Sandra A. Seville-Jones told the magazine.
This year, Munger Tolles ranked third. In 2008, we became the first firm outside of New York to be ranked No. 1, a position we kept for three straight years.
The A-List identifies “firms that represent the legal industry’s all-around best,” by ranking law firms based on a weighted combination of four core professional values: revenue per lawyer, pro bono practice, associate satisfaction and workplace diversity. Munger Tolles received the highest scores of all the A-List contenders in two of these four areas, diversity and revenue per lawyer.
