IP Law & Business Magazine listed Munger, Tolles and Olson’s defense of their client Rambus, Inc., as the top intellectual property verdict of 2006. MTO, led by litigation partner, Greg Stone, defended Rambus, a Los Altos-based high-speed chip technology firm, against charges of anti-competitive conduct by South Korea-based company Hynix Semiconductor Inc. The jury awarded Rambus $306,900,000 in damages. Although reduced by San Jose federal judge to $133 million, Mr. Stone’s verdict remains the IP Verdict of 2006.
Greg Stone specializes in complex civil litigation, including antitrust, intellectual property, commercial disputes and business torts.
