Munger, Tolles & Olson has been recognized with a 2026 California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year (CLAY) Award by the Daily Journal. The award honors California attorney teams that have handled the most impactful litigation over the last year.

At the recent Southern California Public Radio (LAist) Gala on April 11 in Los Angeles, Munger, Tolles & Olson was honored for its decades-long defense of the rule of law and its support of LAist’s mission to deliver independent, community-focused journalism.

Munger, Tolles & Olson was recognized at Managing IP’s 2026 Americas Awards, held on April 9 in New York City. The firm received the Impact Case of the Year award for EcoFactor v. Google (Fed Circ 2025).

Munger, Tolles & Olson, alongside civil rights law firm Public Advocates, secured a significant victory in the California Court of Appeal in Cleare v. West Contra Costa Unified School District, a case enforcing the state’s longstanding requirement that every classroom be staffed by a qualified, year-long teacher.
