Joe Moses is a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Mr. Moses is well-versed in a variety of corporate transactions, including private equity, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property agreements and corporate governance. He regularly advises on both buy and sell-side M&A deals, ranging from the low millions into the billions.
Mr. Moses was a member of the deal team that sold Intel’s NAND business to SK hynix for $9 billion at the end of 2021. He also provided intellectual property advice on WETA’s sale of its VFX business to Unity for over $1.6 billion. Recently, Mr. Moses advised on the spin-out of a multi-billion dollar family office, and continues to provide guidance on a variety of issues affecting high-net-worth clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moses clerked for Judge Stephen V. Wilson of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Moses earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, and is a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school, he served as an executive online editor of the Michigan Law Review and as co-president of the Entertainment, Media, & Arts Law Student Association (EMALSA).
Before attending law school, Mr. Moses worked in both New York City and Los Angeles as a professional actor. In addition to multiple stage performances, Mr. Moses appeared in several national commercials and provided voices for popular television shows and feature films. He graduated with a B.F.A. in Theater Performance from the University of Michigan, and was a founding member of Starkid Productions, a pioneering multi-media theater company.
