Jerry Yan

Jerry Yan is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Yan participated in internships with both the United States House of Representatives Committee on Rules and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund. His professional career also includes time with the United States Department of Justice Voting Section and as an organizer for the Nevada State Democratic Party.

Mr. Yan earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School. While attending law school, Mr. Yan served as the academic chair of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Students Association, co-president of the Election Law Project, and volunteered with the Immigration Pro Bono Project. In recognition of Mr. Yan’s academic achievement, he was the recipient of the Urban A. Sontheimer First-Year Honor, as well as being named a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar.

Before attending law school, Mr. Yan received his undergraduate degree in politics with a minor in computer science from Pomona College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
