Daniel Benyamin is a real estate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Mr. Benyamin’s real estate transactional practice includes representation of a wide range of institutional and non-institutional clients in all areas of real estate, including acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing, across a variety of property types and classes, including raw land, retail, office, multi-family and mixed-use projects. His experience includes conducting extensive due diligence, drafting transactional documents, negotiating complex commercial real estate transactions, leading transaction logistics and coordinating the closing process.
Prior to joining the firm and while attending law school, Mr. Benyamin served as a summer law clerk in the white collar crimes division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney where he assisted in witness and trial preparation. Before attending law school, Mr. Benyamin was a commercial real estate valuation associate with Anderson Tax where he inspected, valued and prepared real estate appraisal reports with respect to a variety of commercial assets.
Mr. Benyamin earned his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. Prior to law school, he graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business earning a B.S. with an emphasis on real estate finance and entrepreneurship and a minor in Policy, Planning and Development focusing on city planning and real estate development.
