
Avery Hitchcock is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hitchcock served as law clerk to the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Hitchcock earned his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he was a Michael T. Masin Scholar and elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Mr. Hitchcock participated in UCLA’s Supreme Court Clinic and competed on UCLA’s National Trial Team and Moot Court Team. Thanks to multiple individual awards and national competition victories, Mr. Hitchcock was elected to the Order of Barristers and selected to receive the Statue of Justice, the Order’s highest honor.
Before attending law school, Mr. Hitchcock earned his B.A., cum laude, in political science, psychology and criminology from the University of Denver.
