Courtney Moore serves as Munger, Tolles & Olson’s Diversity and Inclusion Director. In this role, she provides strategic advice to the firm on diversity-related issues and is committed to furthering the firm’s objective of building and maintaining a preeminent and inclusive firm. Ms. Moore advises on a range of diversity-related matters, develops programs, manages data and interfaces with the community and professional organizations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Moore led all diversity and inclusion strategies as Director of Diversity, Inclusion and EEO at The Aerospace Corporation (Aerospace). Ms. Moore was responsible for generating and building a robust and successful program throughout all Aerospace offices, creating a relationship-driven approach to building and sustaining a deep and broad network of connections. She shaped the strategic vision and implemented all programs and initiatives designed to enhance the culture of inclusion and create a safe workplace where all employees could succeed. Among her achievements, she created an Executive Diversity Council chaired by the CEO and increased the company’s population of diverse interns and new hires. Ms. Moore also engaged company leadership in trends, training, coaching and consultancy to exceed diversity and inclusion goals.
Ms. Moore previously served as Vice President and Regional Diversity Officer at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, and she held diversity-related leadership roles for more than eight years at two major law firms. In addition, she was a practicing attorney for two years.
Ms. Moore holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, an M.S. in sports management from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.A. in international relations from Mount Holyoke College.
