Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP attorney Jeffrey L. Bleich moderated a discussion about comparative constitutional law systems with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia Robert French and U.S. Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli, Jr. in Washington, D.C. on July 20, 2014. The event was hosted by the Australian American Leadership Dialogue, which brings together leaders from both countries to support the bilateral relationship. Other participants included the Vice-President of the United States, the Trade and Finance Ministers of Australia, and the Leader of the Opposition in Australia.
Mr. Bleich served as U.S. Ambassador to Australia from 2009-2013 and received the State Department’s highest award for a non-career ambassador in 2013.
