Rose Ring Co-Chairs and Jonathan Blavin Speaks at Digital Media Conference

Munger, Tolles & Olson attorneys Rosemarie T. Ring and Jonathan H. Blavin will participate in the annual Legal Frontiers in Digital Media Conference on May15-16, 2014.  Hosted by the Media Law Resource Center and the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology, the conference will “explore emerging legal issues surrounding digital content in today’s multi-platform world.”

Ms. Ring is co-chairing the conference and Mr. Blavin will speak on a panel titled, “Scraping Content: the CFAA, DMCA, and Terms of Use.”

In addition, the conference will host panels on mobile legal issues, digital surveillance, online advertising and the future of digital media venture capital.

Ms. Ring frequently represents technology companies in class actions involving privacy and data security, unfair competition and false advertising claims. In 2013, she was recognized by The Recorder  “Women Leader in Technology Law.”

Mr. Blavin is also a litigator whose practice focuses on high-technology intellectual property disputes and privacy-related litigation. He was recently named a “Rising Star” in technology law by Law360.
