Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Kristin Linsley Myles will speak on a panel at the ILA 76th Biennial Conference – 108th Annual Meeting. The theme of the conference is “Domestic Human Rights Enforcement After Kiobel”. “The Supreme Court in Kiobel v. Royal Dutch Petroleum narrowed the range of international human rights claims that may be brought pursuant to the Alien Tort Statute. Nonetheless, various avenues for domestic enforcement of international human rights remain.” The conference will take place in Washington, DC on April 7 – 12, 2014. Ms. Myles' panel has been scheduled for April 10 at 12:45 p.m.
Ms. Myles is a litigator in the San Francisco office of the firm. Her practice has focused upon complex business litigation in a wide spectrum of matters affecting the firm’s corporate clients. Ms. Myles is a frequent speaker on international law and ATS matters. For many years, she has been named among California's "Top Women Lawyers" by the Daily Journal.
