Bart Williams to Speak on Civil Litigation Following Criminal Prosecution

Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Bart H. Williams will speak as a panelist at the 62nd Spring Meeting of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law. The presentation will take place on March 26 in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Williams’ panel discussion is titled “Civil Litigation in the Aftermath of Criminal Prosecution.” According to the program description “Civil antitrust litigation is often sparked by a criminal prosecution, whether in the US or abroad. This creates complex issues for trial: the use of company and witness guilty pleas, leniency status of a witness, Fifth Amendment invocations, and even the fact and scope of prior investigations. This program will debate these issues and offer opinions by experienced trial lawyers on both sides.”

Mr. Williams’ practice focuses on complex civil litigation and trials; white collar criminal defense\ and internal corporate investigations.
