Ronald L. Olson, Brad D. Brian and Glenn D. Pomerantz have been named to the Daily Journal’s annual list of Top 100 lawyers in California. The September 11 list seeks to “honor the attorneys whose work is having the widest impact” and the newspaper highlighted some of each attorney’s recent significant matters.

Mr. Olson’s representation of Google founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, was profiled by the Daily Journal, which also discussed his role in litigation stemming from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant disaster.

Mr. Brian has been representing Transocean in the civil and criminal litigation stemming from the April 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The newspaper also noted his role in a successful appeal on behalf of Boeing Satellite Systems International.

Mr. Pomerantz was acknowledged for representing the U.S. Department of Justice in its high-profile antitrust case aimed at halting the AT&T/T-Mobile merger. (The transaction was subsequently abandoned.) He was also recognized for representing Universal Music Group in the Federal Trade Commission’s review of the EMI Music Publishing acquisition.
