Munger, Tolles & Olson attorney Kristin Linsley Myles gave a presentation titled “South Carolina v. North Carolina – an Original Jurisdiction Water Dispute from the Special Master’s Perspective” at the 2013 Water Law Conference on October 16. The conference was held at The Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska and was sponsored by the Nebraska Water Center, the University of Nebraska College of Law and the Nebraska State Bar Association.
In her presentation, Ms. Myles reviewed the legal challenges that arose during the interstate water dispute, South Carolina v. North Carolina, in which she was appointed Special Master for the U.S. Supreme Court. She is the first woman to be appointed Special Master in the Court’s history.
Ms. Myles is a litigator in the San Francisco office of the firm. Her practice focuses on complex business litigation in a wide spectrum of matters.
