The Daily Journal named Munger Tolles attorney Kelly M. Klaus to its 2013 list of California’s 75 Leading IP Litigators.
The paper spotlighted Mr. Klaus’s representation of video game publisher Electronic Arts Inc. in its copyright infringement action against Zynga, which settled earlier this year, and his ongoing representation of Universal Music Corp. in the high-profile “dancing baby” case, filed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation. The plaintiff alleges that Universal sent a knowingly false takedown notice to YouTube concerning her video posting, “Let’s Go Crazy #1,” which included Prince’s famous song along with images of the plaintiff’s toddler son dancing in a kitchen.
