Fred A. Rowley Jr., a litigation partner with Munger, Tolles & Olson, has been elected to The California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Mr. Rowley was welcomed as a member at the organization’s fall meeting on September 28, 2013.
Mr. Rowley has argued more than 30 appeals in the federal and state courts, representing clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to non-profit museums. He currently serves as co-chair of both the Central District of California Lawyer Representatives to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference and the UCLA/MTO Supreme Court Clinic.
The California Academy of Appellate Lawyers was founded in 1972. “The Academy is the nation's oldest lawyers’ organization dedicated to appellate practice. Our members are California lawyers with substantial appellate experience, who are elected to membership after rigorous scrutiny of their skill in advocacy before the appellate courts.”
