On Oct. 25, Munger Tolles litigation partner Bart Williams will speak about the 2011 Rambus antitrust trial at the 2012 Golden State Antitrust and Unfair Competition Institute. The event is being sponsored by the State Bar of California Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Section.
In a panel titled “Rambus v. Micron Technology and Hynix Semiconductor” Mr. Williams will discuss the five-month trial that “presented one of the largest Cartwright Act damage claims to a jury in years.”
Other panels will include topics such as the AU Optronics trial, antitrust litigation in sports, the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005 and advice on how to effectively present expert witnesses.
Mr. Williams is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Munger Tolles. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, white collar criminal defense and internal corporate investigations.
