Henry Weissmann Received the Federalist Society Lawyer of the Year Award

Henry Weissmann was named the Federalist Society Lawyer of the Year by the Los Angeles Chapter. 

A founding member of the chapter, Mr. Weissmann was its president from 1992-2004. The active chapter frequently hosts discussions and panels.

Judge Sandra S. Ikuta of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit was also honored with the Los Angeles Federalist Society Public Service Award at the organization’s annual banquet on May 13. 

The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a nationwide organization made up of 40,000 lawyers, law students, scholars, and other individuals. It was founded in 1982 by a group of law students interested in making sure that the principles of limited government embodied in our Constitution receive a fair hearing.

Mr. Weissmann is a litigation partner in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. Mr. Weissmann represents organizations operating in regulated industries in administrative proceedings, high-stakes class actions and challenges to government regulations.
