The Daily Journal has named Gregory P. Stone and Kelly M. Klaus to its list of California’s 75 leading intellectual property lawyers. The newspaper spotlighted Mr. Stone’s seven-year long defense of Rambus Inc.’s patents over four trials and his work as appellate counsel for Philip Morris USA Inc before an en banc panel of the Nevada Supreme Court. Mr. Klaus was recognized for his representation of the six major motion picture studios’ successful challenge to RealDVD DVD-copying software, and his successful defense of Universal Music Group in a royalties dispute brought by Eminem's former producers. The Top 75 list is compiled annually by Daily Journal reporters and editors. This is Mr. Stone’s second appearance on the list.
