On Saturday February 21, 2009, lawyers from the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson hosted a workshop for students of color interested in attending law school.
The program, sponsored by For People of Color, Inc. and organized by Munger Tolles associate Misty Sanford, featured a presentation by FPOC President Anthony Solana, Jr., who provided information about - and insight into - the law school application process. A panel of Munger Tolles lawyers were also on hand to share their own experiences as law school students. Approximately 80 students from schools throughout the state attended the program. Past student attendees have matriculated to some of the nation's best law schools and have become associates at major law firms. This is the second year that Munger Tolles has hosted a workshop in conjunction with FPOC.
