MANUEL F. CACHÁN, based in the Los Angeles office, has a practice focused on complex commercial litigation. Mr. Cachán received his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. He joined the firm in 2001 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcón of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
ROSEMARIE T. RING is a litigator in the San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and, in particular, consumer class actions. Ms. Ring received her law degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall. Ms. Ring joined the firm in 2002 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard A. Paez of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
TODD ROSEN is a bankruptcy lawyer in the Los Angeles office. His practice includes representation of bondholders, lenders, and other creditors in connection with bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters of all types. Before joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Rosen was an investment banker who served as financial advisor to official committees in major bankruptcy matters. Mr. Rosen received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
MARIA SEFERIAN is a corporate lawyer in the Los Angeles office. Her practice encompasses a wide variety of corporate transactions and other business matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, arts and entertainment transactions, and intellectual property. Ms. Seferian is a member of the Board of Directors of the California Lawyers for the Arts. She received her J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and joined the firm in 2001 after completing a clerkship for the Honorable James L. Oakes in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
RANDALL G. SOMMER is a litigator in the Los Angeles office with a practice focused on complex commercial litigation He is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Avenue Project, a Los Angeles non-profit organization that offers arts-based education programs for disadvantaged youth. He received his law degree from Columbia University and joined the firm in 2000 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert W. Sweet in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
JOE YBARRA is a litigator in the Los Angeles office with a practice focused on complex commercial litigation. He holds a Master of Arts degree in American History from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Ybarra received his law degree from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Mr. Ybarra served as a law clerk to the Honorable A. Howard Matz of the United States District Court of the Central District of California.
