Munger Tolles & Olson announced that it has selected Sandra Seville-Jones to serve as Co-Managing Partner of the firm. Ms. Seville-Jones will serve through 2011. She joins Mark B. Helm who will continue as Co-Managing Partner through 2009.
Ms. Seville-Jones has been at the firm for twenty-two years as a corporate lawyer, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Her clients include Oaktree Capital Management, Cannery Casino Resorts, The Yucaipa Companies and Universal Music Group. She is a graduate of Harvard University and UCLA Law School. She has recently been the Co-Chair of the firm’s Associate Review Committee and Associate Development Task Force and serves on the firm’s Policy Committee, Diversity Committee and Women’s Initiative Subcommittee. She is Co-Chair of the Advisory Board for the Los Angeles Urban Debate League and serves as a Commissioner on the Planning Commission for the City of Manhattan Beach.
