MTO Corporate Partner Robert Denham Named Dealmaker of the Week
November 2009The American Lawyer magazine has named MTO corporate partner Robert Denham its Dealmaker of the Week for leading Berkshire Hathaway’s $44 billion acquisition of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. The deal, announced November 3, provides that Berkshire acquire, for $100 per share in cash and stock, the remaining 77% of outstanding BNSF shares that it doesn’t already own.
“This is a classic Berkshire Hathaway investment,” Mr. Denham told The American Lawyer. “The company has a long track record of transport and energy deals, if you'll pardon the pun.”
