Alissa Branham

ALISSA BRANHAM is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP.  She joined the firm in August 2008 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Sandra Segal Ikuta on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Branham graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Michigan Law School in 2007.   At graduation she was awarded the Henry M. Bates Memorial Scholarship, a faculty-awarded prize and the law school’s highest honor.   During law school, Ms. Branham externed with the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division, Civil Trial Section.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Branham earned a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, specializing in 19th and 20th Century European Philosophy.  Ms. Branham has taught philosophy courses at both the University of Notre Dame and New College of Florida.
