Joon S. Hur is a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. Mr. Hur’s practice focuses on advising public and private companies, investment funds, fund sponsors and financial institutions in a variety of corporate finance transactions, strategic investments, corporate governance and other corporate and business matters. He has considerable experience in public and private capital markets offerings of debt and equity, asset-based and cash flow credit facilities, preferred equity investments, liability management transactions and corporate governance and disclosure matters.

Prior to joining Munger Tolles, Mr. Hur was a corporate associate in the New York and Hong Kong offices of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.

Mr. Hur received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as a senior editor of the Journal of International Economic Law.

He earned his bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering, Tau Beta Pi and Chi Epsilon, and master of engineering degree in information technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hur worked in information technology consulting and software engineering.
